Dr Sheharyar Qureshi is a consultant endocrinologist based in London. He specialises in both type 1 diabetes and type 2 diabetes alongside infertility treatment and insulin pumps and sensors. Furthermore, Dr Qureshi has expertise in treating thyroid disease and neuroendocrine tumours. He privately practices for London Endocrine and Diabetes Clinic, Chelsea and Westminster Private Care and West Middlesex University Hospital Private Care. He is also a consultant in endocrinology, diabetes and internal medicine at Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust. Dr Qureshi has expertise in managing patients with type 1 diabetes with insulin pumps and sensors, thyroid gland, pituitary gland, infertility and neuroendocrine tumours. 

Dr Qureshi is a highly-qualified professional and prides himself in building trust with his patients. He has earned high praise from them via his leading practice skills, which also includes specialist treatment in women's health, men's health and weight management alongside general internal medicine

He graduated from King Edward Medical University with an MBBS in 2001 and following this, he earned an MSc in Endocrinology Barts and London School of Medicine. He was also awarded an MRCP in Endocrinology by the Royal College of Physicians of London in 2017.

Further to his top clinical achievements, Dr Qureshi is a leading name in medical education as an honorary senior lecturer at Imperial College London. His research has been published widely in peer-reviewed journals and he is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of London (FRCP) and received a distinction from the University of London for his master's thesis on neuroendocrine tumours. 

Dr Qureshi is actively involved in professional endocrinology associations both nationally and internationally; in 2013 he was the US endocrine secretary for the Endocrine Society (US). Other organisations he's involved in include the Association of British Clinical Diabetologists (ABCD), Diabetes UK, Diabetes Technology Network, the British Medical Association, the Society of Endocrinology and the Young Diabetologist and the Endocrinologist Forum (YDEF).
